SCHEDULING
Welcome!
This is the home for all the resources you will need for a successful senior portrait session with us at FLS!
We recommend that you look through all the resources and FAQ below prior to your session to make sure you are properly prepared for our shoot together.
If you have any further questions outside of the resources below, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Planning Your Senior Year
It's great to start early, the best time to start thinking about your senior photos is during your junior year! It might seem like it's far away, but most seniors take their photos the spring/summer before their senior year.
Starting early gives you more time to pick the date/time of year you want, and allows more time for planning with your photographer.
When to Start
We start by finding a date, time and location for your session that suits your vision.
We love to set up a consultation to discuss all your dreams and expectations for the session, typically shortly after your initial inquiry.
We would recommend that you look through all the resources in this portal to familiarize yourself with the process and prepare yourself for your session.
Where to Start
Once you've booked your session it's time to start thinking all things outfits and props!
Take some time to read through all of our resources to help you prepare and reach out if you ever have any questions!
Once you're booked we will send you the link to our client portal that gives you some more tips to help prepare.

Finding the Studio
Address:
104 E. Broadway St, STE 7
Helena, MT 59602

Where are we?
Our studio is located in the old Masonic Building in downtown Helena. The address says Broadway St, but our entrance is on the Jackson St side of the building.
For those familiar with Helena, we always say we are in the same building as the On Broadway restaurant, but our entrance is on the Jackson St side of the building.
If you were to exit the restaurant and head down the hill towards the Walking Mall, take a right around the corner of the building and look for the black cast iron door. Come up the stairs and you're right to us.
Parking
There are several parking options around the studio.
Our preferred parking lot is located above the parking garage on Jackson St., as it offers you a free first hour of parking. This lot can be accessed at the corner of Cruse and 6th, or from Jackson St between the Knights of Columbus building and the parking garage.
Angle parking exists on Jackson St just north of the studio, and there is a pay lot across Broadway St as well.

It's never to early to reach out about your senior photos. Even if you're not wanting to take your photos until later in the year, getting them booked early never hurts. Booking early gives you more selection of dates and times, and a cheaper price then waiting until your senior year starts to book.
Don't worry we won't make you sit through a whole session if you only want a few photos to choose from! We have a couple options for people who want shorter sessions. Our Basic Senior Session is 15-20 min and gives you plenty of options to choose from, or if you really only want 2-3 photos you can book a yearbook mini session. Mini sessions last around 5-10 min and we give you a few yearbook photos to choose from (all of the photos in mini sessions fit yearbook requirements).
We will be accepting bookings until October 1st unless you are not planning on sending these photos in to a yearbook or have a deadline later than October 31st.
